Create an extension on a Grandstream UCM
Add a new user to your UCM6300.

1. Create it
- Open extensionsGo to Extension/Trunk → Extensions and click Add.
- TypeChoose SIP extension.
- DetailsEnter the extension number, name and email.
- PasswordKeep the generated SIP/IAX password, or set a strong one.
- VoicemailTurn voicemail on and set a PIN.
- SaveClick Save, then Apply Changes at the top of the page.
2. Set up the phone
Use Zero Config to provision a Grandstream phone, or enter the UCM address, extension and SIP password in the phone or Wave app.
