Assign a Teams Phone licence
Give a user the licence they need to make phone calls.

1. Assign the licence
- Open the admin centerSign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Find the userGo to Users → Active users and select the person.
- Open licencesOpen Licenses and apps.
- Tick Teams PhoneTick Teams Phone, or a plan that includes it such as Microsoft 365 E5 or Business Voice.
- SaveClick Save changes.
2. Next steps
Assign the user a phone number in the Teams admin center. It can take a few hours for the dial pad to appear.
