Set up an outbound route

Let extensions make external calls through your trunk.

What you need	Affects
Admin access to the Yeastar web portal, and a working trunk	Calls to outside numbers

1. Create it

Open outbound routesGo to Call Control → Outbound Route and click Add.
Name itFor example National.
Dial patternAdd a pattern. X. matches any number and suits most small offices.
TrunkSelect the trunk.
ExtensionsAdd the extensions allowed to use it.
SaveClick Save, then Apply if asked.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Likely cause and fix
Some extensions can't call out	They're not added to the route.

Make sure emergency calls always work. Test with your provider's test number, not the real emergency number.
