Put a Yealink phone on a voice VLAN

Separate phone traffic from computer traffic.

Your network administrator gives you the VLAN ID. Many networks hand it out automatically via LLDP.

Steps

  1. Log in to the phone's web page.
  2. Go to Network → Advanced.
  3. Under VLAN, enable it on the Internet port and enter the VID.
  4. Click Confirm.The phone restarts.
Tip: Get the VLAN ID wrong and the phone loses its network connection. A factory reset fixes it.
