Set up a Yealink T4x phone

Register a T42U, T43U, T44U, T46U and T48U phone to your phone system.

These steps cover the T42U, T43U, T44U, T46U and T48U. If your phone system supports auto-provisioning, use that instead.

Steps

  1. On the phone, press OK or go to Menu → Status to find the IP address.
  2. Open the IP in a browser and log in (default admin / admin).
  3. Go to Account → Register, turn the line on and enter your SIP username, password and server.
  4. Click Confirm and check the line registers.
  5. Change the admin password, then set the time zone.
