Set up a BLF (busy lamp) key

Show whether a colleague is on the phone, and call them with one press.

BLF keys light up when the monitored extension is busy or ringing.

Steps

  1. Log in to the phone's web page.
  2. Go to DSS Key → Line Key.
  3. Pick an unused key and set Type to BLF.
  4. Enter the colleague's extension in Value and a name in Label.
  5. Select the Line (account) to use, then click Confirm.
Tip: Your phone system must allow BLF for this to work.
