Add a T7x or T8x phone to 3CX

3CX lists the T7 and T8 series as supported phones.

Steps

1. If the phone was used on another system, factory reset it and update its firmware first.
2. Find the model and MAC address on the label, or under Menu → Status.
3. In the 3CX admin console, open the user, go to the IP phone settings and choose to configure a phone.
4. Select the model, enter the MAC address without dashes or colons, and add the phone.
5. Choose how the phone connects (for example router phone, SBC or local network), then restart the phone so it picks up its settings.
