Register a Grandstream GRP or GXP phone

Add a SIP account through the web interface.

Works for the GRP26xx and GXP series. Menu names are almost the same across models.

Steps

  1. Press the Up arrow on the phone to see its IP address.
  2. Open that IP in a browser and log in as admin.Newer models use the password on the label under the phone.
  3. Go to Accounts → Account 1 → General Settings.
  4. Set Account Active to Yes and enter an Account Name.
  5. Enter the SIP Server, SIP User ID, Authenticate ID and Authenticate Password.

  6. Click Save and Apply.Check Status → Account Status for “Registered”.
