Create an extension
Add a PJSIP extension and get the details to put into a phone.

1. Create the extension
- Open ExtensionsGo to Applications → Extensions.
- Add a PJSIP extensionClick Add Extension → Add New SIP [chan_pjsip] Extension.
- Number and nameEnter the User Extension (for example 201) and Display Name.
- Copy the secretCopy the Secret. The phone needs it with the extension number.
- VoicemailOn the Voicemail tab, turn voicemail on and set a PIN if needed.
- SaveClick Submit, then the red Apply Config button.
2. Set up the phone
In the phone, enter the FreePBX IP address as the server, the extension number as the username and the secret as the password. Use port 5060 for PJSIP unless your system uses a different one.
Troubleshooting
