Set up QoS for voice

QoS stops downloads and video calls from breaking up phone calls.

Steps

1. Check your phones and phone system mark voice traffic.The usual values are DSCP 46 (EF) for audio and 26 (AF31) for call setup.
2. On your router or firewall, create a QoS rule that prioritises traffic with those markings.
3. Set your internet upload and download speeds in the router so it can manage the queue.
4. Test a call while running a large download.
