DECT handset says Searching

Fix a handset that has lost the base.

The handset can't hear the base.

Steps

  1. Move closer to the base.Range drops through walls and metal.
  2. Check the base has power and its lights are on.
  3. Restart the base by unplugging it for 10 seconds.
  4. If it still searches, register the handset again.
