Record a call on demand

Start recording part of a call.

FreePBX device

On-demand recording must be allowed for your extension.

Steps

  1. During a call, dial *1 to start recording.
  2. Dial *1 again to stop, if your system allows.
  3. Ask your administrator where recordings are kept.
Tip: Make sure the other person knows the call is being recorded.
