Pick up a colleague's ringing phone

Answer a call ringing on another desk.

These are the FreePBX defaults. Your administrator may have changed them.

Steps

To answer a call ringing in your pickup group, dial *8.
To answer a specific extension, dial ** followed by their extension, for example **201.
