Put a Cisco phone on a voice VLAN

Separate phone traffic from computer traffic.

Cisco device

Many networks assign the voice VLAN automatically using CDP or LLDP.

Steps

  1. Log in to the phone's web page with Admin Login → Advanced.
  2. Go to Voice → System.
  3. Under VLAN settings, turn on VLAN and enter the VLAN ID.
  4. Click Submit All Changes.
