Set up a Cisco 6800 phone

Register a 6821, 6841, 6851, 6861 and 6871 phone to your phone system.

These steps cover the 6821, 6841, 6851, 6861 and 6871. If your phone system supports auto-provisioning, use that instead.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Status → Network status to find the IP address.
  2. Open the IP in a browser, click Admin Login, then Advanced.
  3. Go to Voice → Ext 1 and enter the proxy, user ID and password.
  4. Click Submit All Changes.
  5. Set an admin password under Voice → System.
