Update Cisco MPP firmware

Install new firmware from a web server.

Cisco device

Download the right firmware for your model from Cisco and put it on a web server the phone can reach.

Steps

  1. Make sure the firmware files are on a web server.
  2. In a browser, go to http://PHONE-IP/admin/upgrade?http://SERVER/FILE.loads, replacing the parts in capitals.
  3. The phone downloads the firmware and restarts.
  4. Check the new version under Info → Status.
