Caller ID shows the wrong number

People see the wrong number, or no number, when you call.

Caller ID is set on your phone system and your provider.

Steps

Check which line you are calling out on, if your phone has more than one.
Ask your administrator to check the outbound caller ID set for your extension.
If it shows Private or Unknown, your provider may need to confirm you own the number.
