Transfer a call on a Yealink phone

Send a caller to someone else, announced or straight through.

An announced transfer lets you check the person can take the call first.

Steps

  1. During the call, press Transfer (or the TRAN soft key).The caller is put on hold.
  2. Dial the extension or number.
  3. To announce the call, wait for an answer, explain who's calling, then press Transfer again.

  4. To send it straight through, press Transfer again (or B Transfer) as soon as it starts ringing.
