Connect a Yealink phone to Wi-Fi
Use a Yealink phone with a W version without a network cable.
Wi-Fi is built into the W versions, such as the T34W, T44W, T54W, T74W and T85W.
Steps
- On the phone, open Menu and find the Wi-Fi settings (under Basic or Settings, depending on the model).
- Turn Wi-Fi on and wait for the list of networks.
- Select your office network and enter the password.
- Wait for the Wi-Fi icon to appear, then make a test call.
- For a phone at a fixed desk near a network port, a cable is still the most reliable choice.
Tip: Ask your administrator which network phones should use. Some offices keep phones on a separate network.
