Transfer a call in Teams
Pass a caller to a colleague, with or without speaking to them first.
You can transfer straight away, or check the other person can take the call first.
Steps
- During the call, select More actions (the three dots).
- Select Transfer.
- Choose Transfer now to send the call straight through, or Consult first to talk to the person before handing over.
Illustration. Your screen may look slightly different. - Search for the person's name or enter a number.
- If you consulted first, select Transfer when they're ready.
